"No matter what form the artwork may finally have, it must begin with an idea. It is the process of conception and realisation with which the artist is concerned."

When Sol LeWitt wrote these words in 1967, he was making a radical claim: that the idea itself could be the artwork's driving force. Nearly 60 years later, the statement remains surprisingly urgent — not because ideas are scarce, but because they are everywhere.

Ideas today circulate at unprecedented speed. They are generated, shared, consumed and forgotten in a matter of seconds. Images multiply endlessly. Opinions arrive fully formed.

Concepts are cheap.

Realisation is not.

The artists gathered in the 6th edition of ReA! Art Fair remind us of this distinction. What matters is not simply having an idea, but committing to it. Testing it. Building it. Allowing it to encounter resistance. Allowing it to fail. Allowing it to change.

Across painting, sculpture, installation, performance, digital media and interdisciplinary practices, the works presented here emerge from a common condition: the distance between imagining something and bringing it into the world. It is within that distance that art acquires its weight.

Some of the artists in this edition work with memory, others with technology, mythology, labour, intimacy, ecology or the politics of everyday life. Their approaches differ radically, yet they share a willingness to move beyond speculation and into production. The Exhibition is not a collection of answers but a field of propositions — ideas tested against material reality.

This year's Fair arrives at a moment when creative work is increasingly measured by visibility, speed and output. Against that backdrop, ReA! continues to advocate for something slower and more demanding: artistic practices that privilege research over reaction, experimentation over certainty, and long-term development over instant recognition.

Now in its 6th edition, ReA! Art Fair remains committed to supporting emerging artists at a pivotal stage of their careers. Not by predicting who will succeed, but by creating the conditions for ambitious work to be seen, challenged and discussed.

If ideas are easy, realisation remains an act of conviction.

This Exhibition is dedicated to those willing to make that leap.
